From right: Staff Sgt. Jeremy Illy, a native of Virginia Beach, Va. and Spc. Dillon Cortereal, a native of Sandwich, Mass.; both infantryman with Eagle Troop, Task Force 2-7 Infantry, based in Rukla, Lithuania plot the firing sectors of a machine gun emplacement during exercise Saber Strike near, Rukla June 9, 2015. Saber Strike is a long-standing U.S. Army Europe-led cooperative training exercise. This year’s exercise objectives facilitate cooperation amongst the U.S., Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland to improve joint operational capability in a range of missions as well as preparing the participating nations and units to support multinational contingency operations.
