Fredrik Carl Mülertz Størmer (1874-1957) was a mathematician and Northern Lights researcher. He got a cand. real. in 1898. From 1903 he was professor of mathematics at the University of Oslo, a business he maintained until 1946.
Fredrik Carl Mülertz Størmer (1874-1957) was a mathematician and Northern Lights researcher. From 1903 he was a professor of mathematics at the University of Oslo, a position he held until 1946. He was also an amateur street photographer, beginning in his student days. Near the age of 70, he put on an exhibition in Oslo of the photographs of celebrities he had taken over the years including one of Henrik Ibsen strolling down Karl Johans gate, the main road in Oslo.
