Fort Knox Firefighter Joseph Harper shines a light

description

Summary

Fort Knox Firefighter Joseph Harper shines a light above the ceiling tiles of the fire chief’s bedroom, revealing wooden spools that once were used to roll up fire hoses in what was originally the tower to the fire station. Harper said he suspects that a fire pole ran from the room down to the first floor bay area, although he has never found photos to back up his theory.
