Summary
Airman 1st Class John Vargas, 63rd Aircraft Maintenance Unit crew chief, inspects an F-35A Lightning II before take-off April 8, 2020, at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. Luke AFB maintainers perform pre-flight inspections on all aircraft to ensure the safety of each pilot and to achieve successful sorties. In line with the Secretary of Defense and Air Force guidance, Airmen on Department of Defense installations are directed to wear face cloth coverings when they cannot maintain six feet of social distancing in public areas or work centers.
