Family and friends from the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, get in line to climb inside an AH-64 Apache helicopter during the Wolfpack BattalionÕs family day at the aerial gunnery range, Nov. 2. After showing their children and spouses the inside of the cockpit, they conducted a live demonstration of the Apache firing rockets and 30 mm rounds. The pilots qualify on their weapon systems annually, and the battalion took the opportunity to show their loved ones the capabilities of an attack helicopter.
