Summary
At sea aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy The Landing Signals Officer gives the signal to launch an F/A-18 Hornet assigned to the "Knighthawks" of Strike Fighter Squadron One Three Six (VFA 136). Launching from the flight deck of USS John F. Kennedy, the Hornet is returning to NAS Oceana prior to the homecoming of Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW7) August 14, 2002. The first aircraft carrier commissioned into the United States Navy was USS Langley (CV-1) on 20 March 1922.
