Estonian soldiers listen to remarks from a fellow officer during a ceremony commemorating their completion of the first tier in the U.S. Marine Corps Martial Arts Program at Camp Leatherneck, Helmand province, Afghanistan, Sept. 6, 2009. Trained by U.S. Marines with Marine Expeditionary Brigade-Afghanistan, the Estonian soldiers earned their tan belts, which was the first in a five-level program designed to teach offensive and defensive hand-to-hand combat, submission techniques and knife and bayonet fighting.
