Summary
Handle of ewer consists of a swan rising from the lap of mermaid. Two putti support a shell which serves as spout. A girl, a child, and rope-like festoons decorate the upper register of the ewer. Fluted lower portion on an acanthus leaf base; verso: design for coffee pot.
