Summary

Print shows five engraved vignettes depicting events in the life of Charles XII, King of Sweden from being at court, his betrayal, at prayer, meeting with his generals and leading the troops to battle at Narva (Swedish occupied Estonia). The young Swedish King defeated the forces of Peter the Great of Russia allied with Poland, Denmark and Saxony in the first battle of Narva in 1700.
