Note modern floating axle on the new oversize bus trailer which holds 141 persons and may be the answer to the problem of transporting war workers to outlying defense plants. Designed and built by Office of Defense Transportation and War Production Board (WPB) officials with cooperation of private companies, the trailer rolls on eight standard truck size tires, with the usual six tires on the power unit.
