Summary
Cpl. Julio Mota (left) and Cpl. Alvin Jackson, both from Wounded Warrior Battalion-West, practice relay handoffs during the Wounded Warrior Regiment track and field training camp in Portland, Oregon. The camp is a part of the Wounded Warrior Regiment's Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program (WAR-P), which provides opportunities for Marines to engage in both physical and cognitive activities outside the traditional therapy setting. Training sessions include practical application through short and long distance running, throwing, swimming, and conditioning which builds endurance and develops the skills they learn.
