Summary
Significance: This steel skeleton light tower is part of a system of 20th-century Lake Superior navigational aids. Situated just west of the existing 1866 Copper Harbor Lighthouse and on the approximate site of the site's earliest (1849; demolished) lighthouse, its light replaced that of the 1866 lighthouse.
