Summary

Construction crews work on two buildings being constructed for the U.S. Air Force KC-46 Pegasus refueling aircraft, Feb. 4, 2015. The first aircraft is scheduled to arrive in 2016. With 179 new KC-46A aircraft expected to enter service in 2016 through fiscal year 2028, the training mission at Altus AFB is expected to be fully operational by 2023 and will train approximately 475 aircrew each year.
