Summary

Ladislao Montero, executive officer of the "Cougars" of Electronic Attack Strike Squadron (VAQ) 139, performs his pre-flight inspections on an EA-18G Growler aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) during a group sail training unit exercise. The exercise is the first step in the ship's integrated training phase and aims to enhance mission-readiness and warfighting capabilities between the ship, airwing and the staff through simulated real-world scenarios.
