This overhead switch controls the output of a 110-volt direct current generator, operating at 10 kilowatts to supply power to provide power for the two searchlights on the roof of the huge Emergency Service truck. There are also several auxilliary lights runs out from the truck and powered by this generator. This truck in New York City is the only one of its kind, so far
