Summary
City Mills was located on Western Avenue at the corner of Seneca from 1897 to 1909, when it moved to Western Avenue, corner of University, as printed on the letterhead of this blank order sheet. In 1911, City Mills was one of seven flour mills operating in Seattle.
This letterhead depicts a bald eagle holding a ribbon emblazoned with "City Mills, Seattle Washington." City Mills is advertised as "Manufacturers and Dealers in Flour, Feed and Grain // Rye and Graham flour, Oat Meal, Corn Meal, etc." The letterhead also promises: "Feed Ground on Short Notice, Charges Reasonable."
