Children at the School Age Care facility enjoy playing with Sparky, fire prevention mascot, during a Fire Safety Week event held aboard Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Oct. 11. Throughout the week, fire prevention officers, firefighters and paramedics with Fire and Emergency Services hosted several events to inform and educate children an adults alike on the importance of fire safety protocols.
