Summary
Chief Warrant Officer 5 Robert Shober of Fayetteville, N.C., receives an Army Commendation medal from 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade commander Col. T.J. Jamison and Command Sgt. Maj. Larry Farmer April 21. Shober was one of two CH-47D Chinook pilots who airlifted a crashed Chinook from a remote mountain site in eastern Afghanistan.
