Captain Denny Graziosi, Company Commander, Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, presents a plaque to Brigadier General Giannis Papadopulos, Commanding General, 32nd Hellenic Marine Brigade, in honor of the 50th Anniversary of Exercise Alexander the Great (ATG) 2019 in Volos, Greece, Jan. 10, 2019. Exercise ATG is a bi-lateral U.S./Greek (Hellenic) exercise designed to increase interoperability between U.S. Marines and Hellenic Naval Infantry forces, with the purpose of exercising platoon-to-battalion-level infantry field and amphibious skills in order to improve readiness and reinforce relationships.
