Medical Transport: The British Ambulance Railcar No 1 was constructed jointly by the Belgian Railways and the British Royal Engineers to be used for medical services. It was fitted with seven stretchers in three tiers. Here it can be seen at the Gare du Midi in Brussels on 17 February 1945.
