Summary
Folio 7, plate 7 of a series of 12. Design for a vase to be executed in metal, placed on a pedestal. Shell-shaped forms near the neck and lid, the handle connected to the base by a snake-like chain. Sitting on the handle is a crouching dog baring its teeth. Reclining in the slope of the neck, at right, a putto figure.
