Summary

Rond bord van blauw beschilderde faience, met een geribde en geschulpte rand. Op het plat is een zittende figuur in een landschap geschilderd en op de rand twee zittende figuren. De beschildering is grof en vluchtig uitgevoerd.

In the early 17th century, tin-glazed earthenware was made in Holland, in the town of Delft, whence the art was introduced into England. Delft thus refers to tin-glazed wares produced both in the Netherlands and in England.
