John Source, in the cabin of an SH-60F Seahawk as their helicopter lands on the flight deck aboard USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63). HS-14's mission is to provide close-in undersea warfare support to the ship, as well as search-and-rescue operations and air transportation. Kitty Hawk demonstrates power projection and sea control as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, operating from Yokosuka, Japan.
