PACIFIC OCEAN (Apr. 28, 2013) Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Equipment) 3rd Class Chord Deckert, from Hemet, Calif., gives the signal for an EA-6B Prowler from the Wizards of Electronic Attack Squadron (VAW) 133 to launch from the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). The John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, consisting of John C. Stennis, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 9, Destroyer Squadron 21 and the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53), is returning from an eight-month deployment to the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas of responsibility.
