Persian Gulf (Sep. 13, 2005) An F/A-18C Hornet, assigned to the Mighty Shrikes of Strike Fighter Squadron Nine Four (VFA-94), refuels from a U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender aerial tanker while conducting a mission over the Persian Gulf. VFA-94 is currently embarked aboard the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68).
