Summary
An AH-64D Longbow Apache helicopter of the 4th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade shoots rockets at a mountainside during a combined U.S. and Republic of Korea army rotary wing aircraft demonstration at Biseung Range Oct. 6, 2014 here. Three of the battalion's Apache helicopters, similar to the model photographed above, were used in a Joint Air Attack Team operation March 26 at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex near Cheorwon, South Korea. The JAAT was a combined and joint effort among the 210th Field Artillery Brigade, 2nd ID, the Republic of Korea 5000 Field Artillery and the U.S. Air Force’s 25th Fighter Squadron.
