Airmen from the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron
Summary
Airmen from the 124th Air Support Operations Squadron participate in a familiarization flight on an F-16 Fighting Falcon and other local aircraft during their support of Operation Cactus Star Fighter, Operation Snowbird, as they conduct close air support during two weeks in January. The 124th ASOS, stationed at Gowen Field, Boise, Idaho, normally helps to provide ground control for a variety of aircraft with close air support and is given the unique opportunity to see their job from a different perspective.
