Airman 1st Class Dylan Maddox, 51st Maintenance Squadron assistant dedicated crew chief, performs final maintenance checks on an A-10 Thunderbolt II during a rainstorm July 25, 2019 at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Chew chiefs are critically important to ensuring aircraft safety and immediate readiness for aircrew to respond to any threat, any time. The Air Force Safety Center is ensuring the personal safety and readiness of crew chiefs like Maddox remains a top priority.
