Air Commandos with the 352nd Special Operations Wing, based out of RAF Mildenhall, attend a Cabbage Patch Ceremony, June 5, 2019, in Carentan, Normandy, to honor the tasks Allied forces undertook during Operation Overlord on the early morning of June 6, 1944. More than 1,300 U.S. service members from units in Europe and the United States will participate in more than 80 events and ceremonies at the request of the French community and civic organizations June 1-9, in the Normandy region of France to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
