Air Commandos participate in the Fire Prevention Week
Summary
Air Commandos participate in the Fire Prevention Week fire muster challenge at Hurlburt Field, Fla., Oct. 14, 2016. During the week, the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron’s mascot, “Sparky the fire dog” and fire department personnel greeted people at the main gates, visited the Child Development Centers, the base library and participated in the muster challenge to educate Airmen and raise awareness about fire prevention. This year’s theme, “Don’t wait, check the date!” informs Airmen to check the dates on fire detectors because they have a life span of 10 years and must be replaced regularly.
