Starting Her Life With a Terrible Mishap, HMS Thunderbolt - Ex-"thetis" - Has Had a Glorious Record of Victory and Success. the "thetis" Sunk during Trials in 1939 and 99 Lives Were Lost. She Was Salvaged by a Skilful Feat of Engineering and Went on Active Service As the HMS Thunderbolt. Going From One Success To Another She Has Destroyed 2 U-boats and 5 Enemy Supply Ships, Bombarded Enemy Positions and Rescued 43 Torpedoed Merchant Seamen With Their Dog in the Mediterranean.
