Smather, to Washington today to see him sworn in as Junior United States Senator from New Jersey. Senator Smather has been attending sessions of the state Senate, where he is the Representative of Atlantic County, until he was requested yesterday to take up his dutes in the National Senate by majority leader Joseph T. Robinson. The children in the group are, left to right: Polly, 15 years; Joseph B., 13 years; Jane, 19 years; Bill, 17 years; and Ben, 12 years, 4/15/1937
