Summary

A U.S. Navy Douglas A3D-2 Skywarrior (BuNo 142405) of Heavy Attack Squadron VAH-6 "Fleurs" landing aboard an aircraft carrier, in 1957-59. VAH-6 provided detachments for carriers of the Pacific Fleet. due to the width of the deck, this photo may have been taken aboard USS Ranger (CVA-61). VAH-6 was assigned to Carrier Air Group 14 (CVG-14) aboard the Ranger from May 1958 to July 1959, using its squadron tail code "ZC".

142405 was later scrapped after an accident in August 1964 while in service with with VAH-8.
