A whale reportedly entangled in fishing gear about 600 yards offshore from Harvey Cedars, N.J., Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, is assessed by a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light. The Coast Guard is working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, and the Marine Mammal Stranding Center to determine a future course of action.
