SIHANOUKVILLE, Cambodia (Aug. 06, 2012) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Chayra Fernandez begins the process of culturing samples in the laboratory aboard the Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19). Mercy is on its final mission country visit administering medical and dental treatment to hundreds of local residents over the course of two weeks in Sihanoukville, Cambodia as part of Pacific Partnership 2012. Pacific Partnership is an annual U.S. Pacific Fleet humanitarian and civic assistance mission that brings together U.S. military personnel, host and partner nations, non-governmental organizations and international agencies to build stronger relationships and develop disaster response capabilities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
