A pilot from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron

description

Summary

A pilot from the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron flies an A-10 Thunderbolt II during a training sortie above the Netherlands, March 25, 2015. The A-10s deployed as part of a theater security package in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve. The deployment of fighters throughout the region brings additional combat capable forces to Europe, which are able to respond to a wide variety of operations. The Air Force’s forward presence in Europe gives the U.S. the support infrastructure to increase current force and build new and deeper partnerships across the continent.
