A Pararescue jumper, using night vision goggles, rappel from a HH-60 helicopter during a combat search and rescue rehearsal mission in a blacked-out environment on Balad Air Base, Feb 23. Teams use these invaluable rehearsal missions to stay proficient. Their full-time mission is to bring back downed Airmen anywhere in the area of operations.
