A Norwegian Army soldier conducts a survival class
Summary
A Norwegian Army soldier conducts a survival class in Setermoen, Norway, Jan. 27, 2021. Marines participated in cold-weather training, led by Norwegian Army instructors, to familiarize themselves with survival and extreme cold-weather conditions. The training enhanced interoperability with allies and partners around the world. The Marines have practiced strict COVID-19 mitigations when interacting with those outside their unit as an extended precaution after their initial restriction of movement period at the beginning of the deployment.
