A message of comfort is etched onto the bronze screen
Summary
A message of comfort is etched onto the bronze screen of a sculpture July 22, 2014, created by Salado artist Troy Kelley to honor U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Justin M. Decrow, of the 62nd Signal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade, who was killed in the Nov. 5, 2009, Fort Hood shooting. Kelley designed sculptures for each of the 13 victims who were killed in the tragedy using objects that were dear to them. The sculptures were displayed at a groundbreaking ceremony for the Nov. 5, 2009, Fort Hood Shooting memorial at the Killeen Civic Center. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt.
