PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 18, 2008) A member of the Brunei Special Forces rushes towards the pilot house of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Howard (DDG 83) during a visit, board, search and seizure exercise. Howard, along with the Brunei Air Force and Royal Brunei Navy, are participating in South East Asia Cooperation Against Terrorism exercises off the coast of Brunei. Howard and the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group are on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility operating in the western Pacific and Indian oceans.
