A firefighter with Cherry Point Fire and Emergency Services (CPF&ES) moves his gear after participating in a 9/11 remembrance event at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina, Sept. 11, 2020. U.S. Marines with Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting and members from CPF&ES climbed 1,980 steps, equal to the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, in honor of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives Sept. 11, 2001.
