Summary
Significance: The Atlantic Theater was constructed in 1941-42, and the Hanson Building was erected in 1945-46. In 1946 the two structures were joined. The theater was designed by prominent Los Angeles architect Carl Boller, and built by Stivers Brothers. It is notable local example of Streamline Moderne architecture, and remained in use as a theater until 1976.
