Summary
U.S. Army Spc. Jonathan Carpenter, assigned to Cal Guard’s 40th Infantry Division installs cables to the command post platform to connect power from the generators at Camp San Luis Obispo, California, Aug. 30, 2020 during Defender Pacific 20. The ability to rapidly surge combat-ready forces into and across the theater is critical in projecting forces at a moment’s notice to support regional alliances and the existing security architecture.
