301-303 Lackawanna Avenue (Commercial Building), Scranton, Lackawanna County, PA

Significance: 301-303 Lackawanna Avenue is in a neighborhood of late 19th century commercial buildings that comprised the heart of Scranton's business district during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the city's greatest period of prosperity. The first story commercial facades have been altered, however the building retains its limestone cladding, large plate glass windows, and pressed metal cornice on the main building and two story monitor.
