The object clamp is adjustable in two planes, and can be set for paraffin orcelloidin cutting. zylol and paraffin, or in chloroform and paraffin, for from two totwenty-four hours, and is kept at a uniform temperature of 37° C.Next the specimen is immersed in melted paraffin for a like timeand kept at a temperature of 48° to 50° C. It is then removed to acool place and is quickly solidified in the paraffin, after which it isblocked out with a knife and mounted on a cork for cutting.
