Ventral Hernia. There is a dis-tinct localized protrusion, which ismost pronounced when standing orsitting, and diminishes when thepatient lies down. Coughing makesthe mass prominent and gives a dis-tinct impulse to it. The mass is re-sonant on percussion, when contain-ing intestine, and is partially orwholly reducible.
