Resistance is based on hard-drawn wire. The tables require no explanation, except that for lossother than 10 per cent the cross section and weight and costwill be inversely proportional. Tables which, for the reason.■stated, are not presented are as follows: Cost of pole lines, various types. Cost of sub-stations,various sizes and numbers, and type of statics, and size andnumber of rotaries, high tension lightning arresters, wiring,buildings.
