Fig. 19 (seepage 221),which was obtained in thesame manner as Fig. 16(see page 176), shows thevalues of the speed, cur-rent, voltage and horse-power of the outgoing andreturn trips plotted on thesame base, in order thatthe difference in the twosets of results can readilybe seen, the dotted lines asbefore representing thevalues of the return trip. In order to facilitate thecomparison of the curvesobtained in the second testwith those obtained in thefirst, the two plots weresuperimposed and aregiven in Figs. 20 and 21,(see page 224) and thedifference in the char-acter of the performancecan readily be seen.
