One of the most impressive scenes witnessed at any of the training camps where men of the National Army are being whipped into shape was enacted at Camp Upton, N.Y. when 300 foreign born members wearing the uniform were admitted to full citizenship. These men were granted full citizenship in order to give them every protection accorded a citizen of the United States. This photograph shows the men who were instrumental in aiding these foreign born fighters gain recognition as full fledged Americans. From left to right: front row.
