Yung Jones - Biscayne National Park

I have a Master’s of Professional Science in Marine Conservation from the University of Miami. I believe
that healthy coral reefs are the foundation of healthy coastal marine environments. My interest in this
internship position comes from my desire to work towards preparing our coral reefs for a sustainable
future. I hope to have a career in marine conservation with an emphasis on research. This internship
helped me get my foot in the door with the federal government and job scene. I enjoy hiking with my
dog, polymer clay models, and scuba diving.
